Hamlin, Inc., a privately held company with about 950 employees, including 200 at its Lake Mills facility, will be sold for $145 million to Chicago-based Littlefuse. Hamlin, which also has facilities in Europe and Asia, makes products used in the automotive, electronics, and industrial markets and recorded sales of $76 million in 2012. Littlefuse is involved in circuit protection. Thus far, no major changes are planned for the Lake Mills site. The deal should be finalized by the end of the month.
