Habitat for Humanity of Dane County received more than $14,000 from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for new lifesaving equipment.

Habitat Dane received medical safety equipment, including AEDs, for all Habitat Dane locations, which will prepare the organization to properly handle cardiac emergencies if they arise. As an organization that builds homes and communities, Habitat Dane will use the new equipment to protect the well-being of volunteers, staff, and partner families. Construction sites inherently carry risks, and medical emergencies can occur unexpectedly.

To date, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has awarded over $92 million to hometown heroes throughout the U.S.
