GymDandy, a Madison startup, wants to become the Airbnb equivalent for athletic spaces, making it easier for sports teams to find practice and competition spaces, reports, WisBusiness.

The GymDandy app, expected to launch this spring, makes simplifies the rental process for athletic spaces and will target youth recreational and club sports teams that need space.

Initially GymDandy plans to focus on spaces available in Madison, but the startup plans to expand to other parts of the state in the near future.

According to WisBusiness, the company has raised nearly $100,000 already to put toward app development.
