A committee to rename Falk Elementary, a southwest side Madison school, is considering three possibilities: John Lewis, Milele Chikasa Anana, and Dolores Simms Greene.
According to a story from The Capital Times, the group had originally chosen Anana, the former publisher of UMOJA Magazine who died earlier this year, but the process allows for three proposals. Lewis and Greene are also being considered as part of the process and the committee will make a recommendation to the school board at its Nov. 30 meeting.
