Grocery app maker raises $6.5 million

Madison-based Fetch Rewards LLC, designer of a digital grocery shopping app, raised $6.5 million, according to recent SEC filings, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

In total, from 28 investors the company raised $2 million as a new cash investment and $4.5 million from the conversion of convertible notes.

Founded in 2013 by Wes Schroll, a UW–Madison student at the time, Fetch says its app provides benefits to shoppers, grocers, and consumer brands.
