Transportation startup Green Cab of Madison has ceased operations, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport. The all-electric taxi company and VanGo are divisions of Zerology, a transit company launched in 2019 by Madison entrepreneur Shree Kalluri. According to a source close to the company, Green Cab’s last day of business was on Nov. 23. Green Cab was started in 2010 as the first Madison taxicab company with a fleet made up entirely of hybrid cars. It transitioned to an all-electric fleet when it partnered with Zerology in 2019.
