Tim Kippenhan is a Green Bay Packers fan so when his construction company was named general contractor for the $143 million Lambeau Field renovation project, it was dream come true.
“As a fan to get to work on this, this is like our Super Bowl,” said Kippenhan, vice president and chief operating officer at town of Menasha-based Miron Construction Co. Inc., which beat out six other companies for the job.
With tens of thousands of fans flocking to Lambeau annually as well as the millions of television viewers who tune in on game day, ensuring all work on the project is completed flawlessly rests on the shoulders of Miron and the nearly two dozen other businesses involved with the project.
