ASHWAUBENON – Sporting good superstore chain Cabela’s will anchor the gateway site to the Lambeau Development District.
The addition of the Nebraska-based retailer to the 21-acre site on the southeast corner of Lombardi Avenue/U.S. 41 intersection was announced this morning. The Green Bay Packers own the property.
Construction is scheduled to begin this fall, with an opening planned in the summer of 2013. Cabela’s said it expects the store to employ approximately 175 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees. Most will come from Green Bay and the neighboring area.
