The raw numbers are stunning, but the reasons behind them are not. The Packers have sold more than 185,000 shares of team stock since Tuesday morning, already topping the last stock sale in 1997 by more than 50 percent. In terms of proceeds, the Packers have nearly doubled the previous sale, raising approximately $43 million dollars in the first 48 hours the stock was available.
