The Great Dane Pub & Brewing Co. will close its Hilldale location at 357 Price Place, according to Channel3000. The restaurant cited a changing restaurant landscape and falling revenues and said its last day will be Nov. 8.
Great Dane closed its Wausau location in April after operating there for 15 years, citing similar challenges.
The restaurant also operates a flagship location in downtown Madison at 123 E. Doty St., an east side spot at 876 Jupiter Drive, a Fitchburg location at 2980 Cahill Main and a brewery in Sendai, Japan, that opened in 2024.
