Governor’s budget includes millions to support families and caregivers

In the 202123 biennial budget proposal, Gov. Tony Evers is directing more than $140 million to address child care quality, affordability, and access, and more than $600 million in long-term care infrastructure.

An announcement from the administration this week outlines major investments in child care and early education for children and families, plus caregiving and long-term care for aging and older adults and individuals with disabilities.
