Emergency Order No. 22, issued by Gov. Tony Evers on April 9, allows the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services greater flexibility in providing critical services by adapting to new environments and restrictions to help curb the spread of COVID-19.

The order covers a range of service areas including fire departments, construction services, physical therapists, and certified public accountants, and adjusts certifications, licensing, inspection, and examination requirements.
