Gov. Walker Endorses Venture Capital Proposal

Gov. Scott Walker is endorsing a venture capital proposal as the Legislature works to expand investment capital in the state. The governor has a bipartisan work group studying the issue, but he is endorsing an idea that would include a $100 million “fund of funds” model and $100 million to fund early-stage businesses, but would not include state tax credits to CAPCOs, or out-of-state certified capital companies.
