Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation awards $23.5K to Madison-area organizations

The Gordon Flesch Charitable Foundation announced that it has awarded over $148,000 to 36 Midwestern charities providing key community services. These donations included $23,500 to Madison-area organizations.

Organizations in the Madison area receiving grants in 2023 are:

  • Common Threads Family Resource Center Ltd., which offers support to empower people with autism, neurodivergence, and other mental health needs and sensory differences;
  • Hope House of South Central Wisconsin Inc., which has a mission to prevent abuse and provide support to victims of domestic and sexual violence;
  • Maydm, which provides girls and youth of color in grades 6–12 with the skills, experiences, and connections to pursue careers in STEM;
  • Project Home Inc., which improves the quality and affordability of housing for low-to-moderate income residents in Dane and Green counties; and
  • Village Diaper Bank, which partners with local service organizations to provide free diapers to disadvantaged families.
