Google parent company Alphabet reaches $4 trillion valuation

Alphabet has become just the fourth company to reach the $4 trillion valuation mark as its stock climbed to a record high, the Associated Press reports.

Only four months ago, Google nearly faced a breakup as it was considered an illegal Monopoly. 

Instead, Google received orders to share some of its search data with other search engine companies. 

Nvidia was the first company to be valued at $4 trillion when it reached the milestone in July, followed by Apple and Microsoft. 

On Monday, Apple announced it will use Google’s Gemini for Siri, its AI voice assistant, and future AI features in a new multiyear deal.
