The Goodman Community Center’s Technology Assistance Program received a $25,000 boost from AT&T, according to WMTV15.
The contribution will help with program improvements including individual assistance and small group sessions addressing technology subjects with seniors. The money from AT&T will also go toward meals for attending seniors.
Technology Assistance programming is aimed at helping seniors gain access to life-improving resources; it helps older adults learn basic computer skills, gain confidence with mobile device usage, and connect with loved ones, online resources, and services.
