According to the Department of Workforce Development’s U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics revisions for February and preliminary estimates for March, Wisconsin has recently experienced its best 12-month private sector job growth numbers since 2004.

The report indicates that 13,100 private sector jobs were added between February and March 2016. The state also added 47,500 private sector and 51,200 total non-farm jobs over the year ending in March, the best since August 2004.

Seasonally adjusted employment in Wisconsin fell to 4.5% in March, down from 4.6% in February.
