The companies, people and issues shaping business in Madison and the Capital Region.

The Madison Good Neighbor Gathering (GNG) will return for its fourth consecutive year to Brittingham Park on Sunday, Sept. 8, from noon–4 p.m. This festival is coordinated by the Neighborhood House Community Center in partnership with six neighborhood associations on Madison’s near west side (District 13) Isthmus and New Culture Church.

GNG is the only alcohol-free festival of its kind in the area and creates a space where children and families can learn about their community. This year’s festival will feature several family-friendly attractions, a variety of food carts, art activities, music and dancing by local performers, and a closing community meal with free hot dogs.

GNG also offers educational experiences with tables from environmental groups, local health care and public health organizations, area nonprofits and schools, voting rights groups, and many youth-oriented organizations.
