La Moda Marie Youth Global Fashion, a shop featuring fashion trends from around the world, has opened in the former Willy Street Treasure Shop space at 1012 Williamson St., according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The shop is owned by Maricel Gonzaga, and her spouse, Mike Kohn, owns the next door Petinary Clinic.
Gonzaga previously sold her merchandise at events including the Willy Street Fair and La Fete de Marquette. She says she sources her inventory from wholesalers in Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and Thailand, and she plans to expand, sourcing from more countries over the coming months.
The shop is open Thursday–Sunday from 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
