According to NBC15, Gilda’s Club Madison on Sunday held its 16th annual Gilda’s Run Walk in Middleton, an event that raises funds for cancer support programming. Over 600 runners and walkers participated, raising $80,000 for the effort. The event included a two-mile walk and a 5k run.
The money raised from this event alone will cover around one tenth of Gilda’s Club Madison’s cancer programs. Programs provide free emotional support, cancer education, and more for children and adults living with cancer as well as their caretakers.
