GiGi’s Playhouse Madison received a $75,000 grant from the Madison Community Foundation’s Community Impact Fund, WKOW reports.

The grant will help the organization to build a permanent facility for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.

The new 8,000-square-foot facility in Fitchburg will have a sensory room, gym and community areas. Overall, the facility will cost $4 million.

The nonprofit provides numerous services, like career development programs.
