Southern Wisconsin’s Alter Metal Recycling and others donated over $100,000 to Gigi’s Playhouse, a nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities with free educational, therapeutic and career development programs, according to WMTV15. Alter matched $54,000 in donations from its region for a total contribution of $108,000.
The Madison area’s Schmidt’s Auto gave the largest single contribution. Funds raised will directly support Gigi’s Playhouse programming and over 400 families in Greater Madison.
The nonprofit will host a check presentation on May 14 at 11 a.m.
