Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin (GHC–SCW) announced its partnership with KeyCare, the nation’s first Epic-based virtual care company. This new partnership adds another quick care option to the suite of GHC Care OnDemand virtual health care services.

GHC–SCW members can now obtain virtual care with licensed health care providers anywhere, anytime. From their home, office, or on the go, members can use KeyCare to help treat certain nonemergency medical conditions.

Two new ways to receive care via KeyCare include:

  • Virtual urgent care, where members can visit a licensed provider face to face in real time via secure video through GHCMyChart; and

  • E-visits, where members can connect with a licensed provider electronically by sending messages and photos for symptom review through GHCMyChart.

For e-visits including children five and older, parent or adult guardian access can take up to seven days to be approved. GHC–SCW suggests parents/guardians request proxy access in advance, prior to needing care.

Most GHC–SCW members receive unlimited, free visits. KeyCare is not available for members under the age of five, Medicare Select, BadgerCare Plus, or Quartz patients. Plan conditions apply for members with HSA benefit plans.
