Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin is going where no Wisconsin health system has gone before. They’re offering a money-back guarantee if a customer feels dissatisfied with the service they receive.
According to a release, the health care system announced the GHC Experience Guarantee to refund out-of-pocket expenses up to $2,000 should a customer not receive the care they expected.
“In almost any other industry, customers can get a refund when they’re not satisfied,” notes GHC-SCW CEO, Dr. Mark Huth. “Why can’t the same be said for health care?”
Patients would fill out a feedback form explaining their experience, and can even determine how much they think they should be refunded. The program is available to all members effective immediately.
