Madison-based startup accelerator gener8tor will host a virtual Premiere Night featuring this year’s cohort for its 12-week accelerator, according to the organization. The four companies, selected from over 1,500 companies located worldwide, each have received a $100,000 investment and will pitch their businesses to investors and the public on Sept. 21, from 6–7:30 p.m. Due to the pandemic, the accelerator programming and Premiere Night event are virtual this year. The four startups selected to participate are:
- Wildwonder (San Francisco, California), a maker of the first microbiome, expert-approved symbiotic (prebiotic + probiotic) beverage for the $125 billion functional beverage market for better gut health;
- Dora Maar (New York City), an influencer marketplace that allows influencers to sell luxury consignment to their consumers and monetize their closets;
- Awayr AI (Boston, Massachusetts), an AI modeling and simulation software to help automotive engineers run virtual experiments to determine how people will interact with vehicle user interfaces in the real world with a high degree of accuracy; and
- Streo (Los Angeles, California), an on-demand, live events platform that enables DJs and live bands to stream their events from all over the world. Artists can archive and distribute their live-streamed gigs for paid access.
