gener8tor celebrates 10 years

Madison-based venture firm and national accelerator network gener8tor will celebrate a decade of operations at its 10th Anniversary Celebration on Aug. 18, 2022. The event will be held in collaboration with Forward Festival, an event bringing together hundreds of startup founders, corporate partners, investors, tech innovators, and gener8tor teammates for a night of celebration. gener8tor was started in 2012 to provide support for promising entrepreneurs with accelerator programs in Madison and Milwaukee and is known for its flagship Investment Accelerator. Ten years later, gener8tor has 140 full-time employees and accelerators in more than 41 communities with over $1.2 billion in total funding across 22 states and two countries. To date, 938 startups have graduated from one of gener8tor’s 104 annual accelerator programs, with 34 companies having been acquired, making gener8tor one of the largest accelerators in the world.
