GenCell Biosystems, Ltd., headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, has opened its first office in the U.S. in Madison’s University Research Park. Robert Roeven, formerly with Third Wave Technologies/Hologic, was tabbed to head up the local office, named GenCell USA. The company employs 30 people in Ireland and two in Madison, with more expected to be hired. GenCell is an analytical-instrument maker, and the Madison office will provide customer support on technical and sales matters.
