Gateway Technical College is hosting a conference on March 26 to connect students with employers, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.
The college’s InnovateU Conference is designed to introduce students to leadership, innovation and career pathways.
It will run from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the SC Johnson iMET Center, located at 2320 Renaissance Blvd.
“Employers will be able to help future workers in their industry by giving them valuable insight into their career, but they also benefit by having access to emerging leaders in their industry as well,” Mary Xiong, Gateway experiential learning and career transitions coordinator, said in a statement. “They can provide information about their organization to these future leaders as well as any field placement or internship opportunities.”
