The national average price of gas per gallon has risen to over $4.
It is the first time it has reached the price heights since 2022 and is thanks to the ongoing U.S.-Iran war, the Associated Press reported.
Motor club AAA has the national average price listed as $4.02. Before the war, gas hovered at around $3 per gallon. Gas was last at this high when Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022.

The U.S. launched the war on Feb. 28, which has affected supply chains of crude oil, aluminum, nitrogen fertilizer and more.
