Funds approved for Garver Feed Mill

The city of Madison’s Finance Committee has approved $1.6 million for the remediation of contaminated soil at the Garver Feed Mill on Madison’s east side, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. Baum Development plans to acquire the deteriorating mill from the city, invest nearly $20 million to convert it into an artisan food production facility, and add up to 50 micro-lodging units on adjacent land.
