Wawona Packing Co. of California voluntarily issued a national recall of fruit sold at Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and Sam’s Club because of listeria concerns. Specifically, the recall affects whole white and yellow peaches and nectarines, plums, and plumcots packaged between June 2 and July 12. No illnesses have been reported, but the company asked that retailers and wholesalers remove the fruit from their shelves and that consumers throw the fruit out.
