The Clean Lakes Alliance announced that its event raised over $1.4 million for lake improvement projects, educational programs and water quality monitoring.
The annual event brought together the community and partners for a 5K run/walk and a host of activities on the ice.
“The changing climate and changing winter weather has meant we are thinking about runoff control and lake protection year round,” the organization said in a statement. “Now more than ever, Clean Lakes Alliance needs your help to keep our waters clean and healthy.”
