The Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy has announced several events planned for late spring and early summer, including a special event this week where visitors can view the Conservancy’s bald eagle family and recently born eaglets.

An eagle nest watching party onFriday, May 3, from 4–6 p.m.;

“Birding by Ear” with Friends of Pheasant Branch Conservancy Education Coordinator Tim Hansel at the Middleton Public Library at 7425 Hubbard Ave. on Thursday, May 16, from 6–7:30 p.m. (registration required);

A Creek Corridor bird walk on Saturday, May 18, from 8–10 a.m.; and

A grassland bird walk on Saturday, June 1, from 8–10 a.m.

Registration is also open for the annual Prairie Chase Run/Walk, which will be held at the Conservancy on Saturday, June 22. The event features a 5K run/walk or an all-terrain 10K on the scenic grounds of the Conservancy. Find more information and register here.
