Frank Productions, a Madison-based, national concert promoter, announced plans to merge with the Majestic Theatre, according to a story in the Wisconsin State Journal.
The Majestic’s owners say they don’t expect any major operational changes to result, but the merger would combine the businesses’ properties and companies, including two music venues the Majestic owns in Columbia, Mo., and a promotion company and artist management firm Frank owns in Nashville, Tenn.
Meanwhile, Frank Productions is expected to close on its purchase of Madison’s High Noon Saloon in May, and the company is also building a 2,500-person capacity concert venue, The Sylvee, as part of the Cosmos project on the 800 block of East Washington Ave.
