Foundation raising initial goal for Bayview redevelopment

The Bayview Foundation has reached its initial fundraising goal for the $54 million redevelopment of the Bayview neighborhood, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The $4 million initial capital campaign goal was reached in less than a year. The campaign was helped by a $2.5 million gift from the Goodman Foundation and $2 million from individual donors. The foundation will now extend the campaign goal an additional $2 million to increase the stability of programs and operations.
