Forward Theater announced its 2024–25 season, returning as Overture Center’s professional resident theater company, according to a recent press release. With the theme, “Through Thick & Thin,” Forward’s 16th season explores the ties that bind people to one another.
The 2024–25 season includes:

King James by Rajiv Joseph from Sept. 12–29, directed by Mikael Burke;

Murder Girl by Heidi Armbruster from Nov. 7–24, directed by Jen Uphoff Gray;

Summer, 1976 by David Auburn from Jan. 30–Feb. 16, directed by Laura Gordon;

A Case for the Existence of God by Samuel D. Hunter from March 27–April 13, directed by Jen Uphoff Gray and presented in-the-round in the Playhouse at Overture Center; and
Monologue Festival: Guilty Pleasures in June 2025, with dates to be determined.
