Fortune Favors, a candied pecan company based in the Madison area and previously known as Nutkrack, has been honored with the Wisconsin Small Business Persons of the Year award by the state’s Small Business Administration (SBA), the Wisconsin State Journal reports. The award recognizes the company’s successful shift to online sales and significant growth during the pandemic.
Founded in 2018, Fortune Favors operates a retail store on Atwood Avenue and recently moved its production and headquarters to a larger facility in Cottage Grove, featuring extensive amenities to support its operations.
With 15 employees, the company also stands as a nominee for the National Small Business Person of the Year award, with an upcoming awards reception in Washington, D.C.
