The Rotary Club of Madison will host guest speaker Tom Loftus at a members-only luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at the Park Hotel. Loftus served as U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway from 1993–97. A member of the Wisconsin Legislature from 1977–91, he was the longest-serving Democratic Speaker of the Assembly, from 1983– 91. Loftus will share experiences detailed in his book, Mission to Oslo.
The Rotary Club of Madison is made up of over 400 business and professional leaders and is one of the world’s largest service clubs. It donates over $700,000 annually to scholarships for young people and to local community service organizations.
