Ford is partnering with Amazon to allow franchised dealers to sell certified pre-owned vehicles through Amazon, CNBC reports.
Shoppers can get financing, begin paperwork and schedule vehicle pickup through Amazon.
Some steps, like a signature to seal a car purchase, will still need to be done in person.
Amazon also allows Hyundai to sell vehicles through its site, but Hyundai sells new vehicles online. And Amazon partnered with car rental company Hertz earlier this year to sell used vehicles.
Ford differentiates itself with the certified pre-owned vehicles in that they are inspected, refurbished and certified by the dealer or Ford.
