Locally owned grain bowl and salad shop Forage Kitchen is coming to Madison’s east side with a new location at 2824 Prairie Lakes Drive.

Located in the Prairie Lakes shopping center, the 1,800-square-foot former salon space was transformed into a dining room and scratch kitchen with patio dining by JA Connery. The interior of the new location also includes a mural by local artist Stefan Matioc. Local sourcing at Wisconsin Forage Kitchen locations is anchored by Verona’s Flynn Creek Farm.

Additionally, the Sun Prairie Forage restaurant will host a fundraiser on July 9 benefiting Explore Children’s Museum. Twenty-five percent of all sales that day will be donated to this community-based and visitor-supported nonprofit.

Forage Kitchen’s offerings are available for dine-in, pickup, and delivery. The restaurant will be open daily from 10:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
