A new collaboration between Focused Interruption and the River Food Pantry will enable people to receive food directly at their homes beginning this month.

This initiative is part of Focused Interruption’s aftercare and recovery services program, which helps families stay “stable and connected after experiencing trauma,” Focused Interruption said in a statement.

Focused Interruption will pick up groceries from the River Food Pantry with a van donated by UW Health. It allows for serving more households and neighborhoods often considered to be in food deserts and have transportation challenges.
