Barb Fleisner, executive director of Centergy, a Central Wisconsin economic development organization, will leave Centergy in late January to join the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp.
Mike Klonsinski, chief operations officer for WEDC, announced the appointment.
Fleisner will serve as the WEDC’s regional account manager for eight northeastern Wisconsin counties, coordinating regional business resources and working with local economic development groups to support business expansion and recruitment.
The counties in her region are Florence, Marinette, Oconto, Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc and Sheboygan counties.
