A new Mills Fleet Farm store will be built on 25 acres northwest of I-39/90/94 and Highway 19 in DeForest after the DeForest Village Board approved the project on a 7–0 vote.
According to the DeForest Times-Tribune, the store would have a minimum guaranteed value of $25 million and be located in an area currently zoned agricultural.
It is anticipated to add 150 to 200 full- and part-time jobs to the area.
