Local manufacturers of in-home fitness gear are seeing a surge in sales amid multistate stay-at-home orders, according to a Wisconsin State Journalreport.
Fitchburg-based Saris Cycling and Waterloo-based Trek Bicycle are responding to increased demand as more people are turning to in-home fitness during the shutdown.
According to Adobe’s Digital Economy Index, orders for weights, stationary bikes, and treadmills were up 55 percent in March.
