Fitchburg wine shop Waterford Wine & Spirits is hosting a celebration of Midwest spirits that will bring together craft distillers from across the Great Lakes region, the Wisconsin State Journal reports. The tasting event will be held April 12 from noon-3 p.m.
Roughly 50 spirits made throughout the Midwest will be available for participants to taste. The manager of the store at 6227 McKee Road, Pat Miller, said the event is the first of its kind in Wisconsin and was designed for around 100 attendees. Participants will be able to meet 12 producers with tables set up throughout the store.
