Ownership of Fitchburg’s Avalon Assisted Living has been transferred from Oregon’s Ridgeline Management Co. to a Utah-based company, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal. The sale closed Sept. 17 to a company that has chosen to remain anonymous until the sale terms are disclosed. The Avalon facility, at 2879 Fish Hatchery Road, employs more than 40 staff who live and work at the location. Ridgeline Management Co. will continue to manage Avalon’s operations, and the change in ownership will allow Avalon to renovate its memory care facility and hire more staff.
