City of Madison officials have announced the first five vendors for the Madison Public Market, all of which will receive $19,000 in seed money from the city, according to a report from the Wisconsin State Journal.

The vendors — Caracas Empanadas y Más, Little Tibet, Melly Mell’s Catering, El Sabor de Puebla, and Perfect Imperfections — will receive a starting stipend, coaching, and other resources through the city’s “MarketReady” program, which helps entrepreneurs create stable business foundations.
