First Business Bank announced its second $1 million investment in the Dane Workforce Housing Fund. This contribution builds on the bank’s first $1 million pledge in 2020 and reinforces its commitment to addressing affordable housing needs in Dane County.
The Dane Workforce Housing Fund, managed by Madison Development Corp., was founded in 2020 to create affordable housing for the local workforce. The fund raised $11.8 million from 14 local businesses and has already created 747 new housing units, surpassing its initial target of 500 units.
