J.H. Findorff & Son was awarded a $9 million contract to build a 19,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art F-35 flight simulator facility, according to a Wisconsin State Journal report. The 18-month project includes the demolition of a 4,646-square-foot space and is expected to begin in May.

The contract is the first awarded by the Wisconsin Air National Guard’s 115th Fighter Wing, which expects to award a total of 19 military construction contracts totaling close to $100 million. The first F-35 planes are scheduled to arrive in 2023.
