Fiber expansion in Stoughton now complete

TDS Telecom has completed its fiber-to-home network build in Stoughton and nearly 82 miles of fiber now connects more than 7,300 area addresses to super high-speed internet, according to a release from the company. The project allows up to 1 Gb internet download and upload speeds, along with television and telephone service. Only 32% of the U.S. has access to fiber internet, according to BroadbandNow.com. TDS also announced that 10 Gb dedicated connections are available for businesses, as well as hosted VoIP communications.
